Shipping policy

Currently we only ship to the contiguous United States. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

Orders are processed within 1 business day (Monday–Friday).
Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping charges will be calculated in the shopping cart by weight/size of the order and based on delivery location.

Rush delivery charges are greater than ground service. Please remember that most rush delivery charges are based on dimensional weight or real weight (whichever is greater) and result in higher freight charges.

Important Shipping Note for Time-Sensitive Orders
We understand many of your orders are time-sensitive. Please note that ground shipping delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be impacted by carrier delays.
If your order is needed by a specific date, we strongly recommend selecting an expedited shipping option at checkout.

In addition, please note that these packages can be delivered as early as 8:00 a.m. Someone will need to be at the delivery location by this time in order to accept the package. There will be only one delivery attempt made by FedEx® that day so it is critical that someone is available to accept the order.

Free standard ground shipping is automatically applied at checkout for qualifying orders of $1,000+ shipped to valid addresses within the contiguous United States.

This offer applies to standard ground shipping only and is not valid for:

  • Expedited or special shipping services

Palletized Freight Shipping (SAIA LTL Deliveries)

Orders containing palletized items will ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers, primarily SAIA Freight.

Please review the following important details before placing your order:


Delivery Process & Scheduling

  • Freight deliveries are made during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am – 5pm local standard time)
  • No delivery appointment or call ahead is included by default
  • The carrier will attempt delivery during business hours
  • Tracking is provided so you can monitor your shipment and prepare for delivery

A representative must be available to receive and sign for the shipment at the time of delivery.

⚠️ Important: Freight carriers do not call ahead before delivery attempts. Missing a delivery may result in additional fees.

·       Delivery appointments are available upon request for a $60 service fee

·       Please contact us in advance to arrange a scheduled delivery

Once your pallet ships, you’ll receive an email with your SAIA PRO Number and tracking link.

Use this to follow your shipment in real time and plan for delivery.

You can also enter your PRO Number on SAIA’s tracking page (https://www.saia.com/track) to receive shipment updates directly from the carrier.

 Delivery Requirements (Dock, Forklift, or Liftgate)

  • Freight shipments arrive via large tractor-trailers
  • To receive your delivery, you must have one of the following:
    • A loading dock, or
    • A forklift, or
    • Select “Liftgate Required” at checkout if you do not have a loading dock or forklift available

Choosing the Correct Delivery Option

 During checkout, you will see two options:

  • Freight (No Liftgate) → Select this if you have a loading dock or forklift
  • Freight (Liftgate Required) → Select this if you do NOT have a dock or forklift
  • Liftgate service lowers the pallet to ground level
  • All deliveries are curbside only — the driver does not bring items inside
  • You are responsible for moving products into your location
  • If liftgate service is required but not selected, additional fees and delays may occur

👉 If your order qualifies for free shipping, liftgate service (if selected) is included at no additional cost.


Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1 business day (Monday–Friday)
  • Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be processed the next business day

Transit Times (Estimated, Not Guaranteed)

  • Most deliveries arrive within 2–5 business days depending on location
  • Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
  • Delivery timelines may vary due to weather, routing, or terminal processing

Inspection Required at Delivery

  • Please inspect your shipment upon delivery as soon as possible
  • Any visible damage or shortages should be noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery
  • If damage is discovered after delivery, it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

To report damage, please contact our team via email at hello@thefloristsupplyshop.com and include:

  • Photos of the damaged items
  • Photos of the packaging (including the pallet and outer box)
  • Your order number

Please retain all packaging and damaged items for inspection if a claim is filed.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may impact your ability to file a claim


Missed Deliveries & Storage Fees

  • If the carrier is unable to complete delivery (for example, if no one is available or the location is not accessible), the shipment will be returned to the local terminal
  • Redelivery and storage fees may apply

Please ensure your delivery location is open and ready to receive your shipment


Additional Accessorial Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Liftgate service
  • Residential delivery: Residential addresses may incur additional fees and often require liftgate service
  • Limited access locations
  • Delivery appointments (by request)
  • Special handling or unloading

All applicable charges are the responsibility of the customer.


Important Notes

  • Freight charges are estimates and may adjust based on actual shipment details
  • Ensure your delivery location is accessible for a freight truck.
  • Freight trucks are typically 48–53 ft trailers and require adequate space for delivery. Locations with tight access, narrow roads, or restrictions may require special arrangements.
  • Pallet shipments may be heavy, please plan accordingly for unloading
